FUNCTIONS
"The CISM Committee aims to achieve this mission through the following:
- Oversee the operations of the CISM Programme
- Carry out analysis and identification of the risk factors arising in the Ambulance Service, as a result of Critical Incident Stress and other occupational stressors
- Design programmes, processes and procedures to enable Ambulance Services to manage these risks as effectively as possible
- To implement training programmes, policy documents commission research and other actions that address the risks identified
- Carry out evaluation of all programmes, processes and procedures to ensure that they meet organisational and individual needs
